About Event

As global capital continues to shape markets and innovation, understanding the national security framework governing foreign investment is essential. The City of Miami’s Department of Economic Innovation and Development is proud to host a special briefing with Chris Pilkerton, Assistant Secretary for Investment Security at the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

In his role overseeing the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the Outbound Investment Security Program, Assistant Secretary Pilkerton will provide a comprehensive overview of the federal framework that evaluates foreign transactions to protect national security while keeping the U.S. open for business.

Hosted in Miami—the gateway for international investment from Latin America, Europe, and beyond—this briefing offers regional investors, legal professionals, and business leaders a unique opportunity to gain insight into the evolving global investment landscape.
