About Event

Software testing plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality products - but it also comes with a growing environmental cost. Large enterprises routinely run 5,000–10,000 nightly test cases, consuming 12–24 hours, while weekly cycles often exceed 60,000 test cases, spanning multiple days.

Nearly 50% of testing resources are often spent on redundant or low-priority tests, leading to wasted compute, energy consumption, and unnecessary infrastructure load.

Green Testing represents a shift toward smarter, more sustainable testing practices. By integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the testing lifecycle, organizations can analyze code changes, prioritize relevant test cases, eliminate redundant runs, and dramatically reduce resource consumption - all while maintaining or improving quality outcomes.

This approach not only cuts waste and speeds up releases, but also aligns tech organizations with global sustainability goals, proving that quality engineering and eco-conscious innovation can go hand in hand.
