Laser Cutter Certification - Members Only
Frontier Tower members can get certified to use the makerspace laser cutter for engraving and cutting wood and acrylic! This session covers core safety procedures, approved materials, machine setup, job preparation, and basic workflow from design file to finished piece. Participants will learn how to operate the laser responsibly, avoid common mistakes, and understand best practices for clean cuts and engravings.
By the end of the session, attendees who complete the training will be eligible to use the laser cutter in accordance with makerspace rules and supervision policies.

Laser cutter safety and shop protocols Approved woods and acrylics File prep and basic settings Engraving vs. cutting workflow Setup, operation, and cleanup
