AI for Leaders: AI for the Third Sector
With the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence and the speed of its development, it can be challenging for organisations to keep pace.
In this course, ProMo Cymru will guide you through some practical applications of AI for your organisation and share case studies from the third sector.
The course is aimed at leaders to help you understand how AI can support your work.
Through this hands-on and practical module, we’ll cover:
The background of AI: What is it and how does it work
Beginner AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Otter.ai
Advanced AI tools, such as NotebookLM, Claude and Firebase Studio
Examples of AI in the third sector
The future of AI: What role might AI play in your organisation's future?
This session is designed for:
Senior Leaders, Trustees and Board members who want to better understand the opportunities AI presents.
Digital leads, comms leads, service managers or other Third Sector staff who, whether formally or informally, play a part in shaping digital direction
Important information
Eligibility: You must be part of a Third Sector Organisation based in or delivering a service in Wales.
One place per organisation: As spaces are limited, we’ll be offering one place per organisation.
Selection process: We are looking to work with a diverse range of Third Sector organisations across Wales so there will be a selection process.
Language: Delivered through the medium of English.
Closing dates:
Module 1: 20th October 2025
Module 2: 17th November 2025
(We may close registration earlier if we reach capacity.)
