About Event

Are you a climate tech company looking to apply for public funding?

Public funding can be a powerful resource for climate startups, particularly those with proven technologies ready for scale. Many opportunities provide non-dilutive capital—funding that does not require giving up equity.

Some types of public funding are categorized as Official Development Assistance (ODA), or what we more commonly know as foreign aid. They often flow through governments, funds or other types of programs, and are typically targeted at emerging markets. They can support the early adoption of innovative climate technologies, enable the scaling of solutions in high-growth, emerging economies and in turn, help de-risk investments in these markets.

During this fireside chat, business development consultants Yvonne Chen and Fred Marree will give an overview of key funders, share tips for navigating their application processes and discuss how to build the strategic partnerships needed to form a successful consortium. In addition to providing an overview of this often overlooked source of funding, we will also provide examples of opportunities available right now.

We invite you to join this one-of-a-kind fireside chat hosted by your fellow 9Zero member, Yvonne Chen.

Agenda:

9:00 – 9:20: Presentation

9:20-10:00: Q&A

Do you have a burning question for our proposal experts? Please send your questions to [email protected] before March 25th 12pm PST.
