Bring a little Tahitian sunshine into your October. 🌺
Join us for a beginner-friendly introduction to Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance) and spend the afternoon discovering the movement, rhythm, and culture behind this beautiful Polynesian dance tradition.
Our own Thread Keeper, Divine Bachelet, originally from Congo, will lead the workshop after discovering Ori Tahiti while living in France. She’s giving us the chance to experience it firsthand.
To help you experience the movement and tradition beyond simply learning the steps, pāreu, traditional wrap skirts worn in Tahitian dance, will be available to borrow during the workshop.
No dance experience is needed. Come as you are and get ready to immerse yourself in the rhythm, energy, and joy of Ori Tahiti.
🌺 What to bring:
▫️ A water bottle to stay hydrated
▫️ Comfortable clothing you can move freely in
▫️ Optional: your own sarong or beach wrap, if you have a favorite one you'd love to wear
⚠️ Limited to 18 guests. If you RSVP, we are counting on you as another woman in tech might miss her chance.
