TechX Uganda 2026 D-Day: Engineering Sustainable Communities Through Technology

​D-Day is the main conference of IEEE CS SYP TechX Uganda 2026, hosted by the IEEE Makerere University Student Branch and its IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter.

​Expect a keynote on engineering sustainable communities, lightning talks on AI, IoT, and green computing, an industry panel on building careers around community impact, hands-on workshops, the IEEE Computer Society membership session, and one-on-one Nano Mentoring with industry professionals. The day closes with the Sustainability Innovation Showcase, where hackathon finalists pitch their solutions and winners are announced.
