Sui Move Developer Workshop

​During this workshop, attendees will be introduced to the Sui blockchain and its Move programming language. We will discuss the differences and unique factors of the Sui Blockchain, followed by an introduction to the Move programming language with hands-on examples to show the development flow, while utilizing different techniques and patterns. Then, we will be looking at some of the ecosystem tools and projects that developers can use to make their lives easier and build solid projects. Finishing off, a developer challenge will be provided with some special perks for the attendees who will complete it.

​By the end of this workshop, participants should have the foundational knowledge of developing on Sui by utilizing the Move programming language. They will also have some clear next steps to be able to continue their development journey on Sui, such as challenges and upcoming exclusive developer competitions.
Speaker : Ivor Baric
Ivor is a backend and blockchain developer at 4 Point O Labs, with expertise in smart contract development and protocol integrations. He's been actively involved in the Sui Move ecosystem since its inception, contributing to multiple infrastructure and product-layer projects across the network.

​With a strong foundation in Move, Ivor brings a builder’s perspective to Web3 development, often working on protocol tooling, custom frameworks, and on-chain agent logic.
