Climate Tech and the City

​If you have ever wondered how the climate crisis relates to local government in Israel, and what part the local government plays in tackling the crisis – you are invited to join us for a tour in The Municipal Innovation Center (MIC) of Mashcal.

​During a tour of approximately one to one and a half hour, you will get to know the innovation center better, the municipal world, and the interesting intersection between it and the world of climate and Climate-Tech: We will learn about the municipal work and effort in light of the climate crisis; Be introduced to technological developments designed to help local authorities in coping with this challenge; And explore how a smart city views the issue.

​Mashcal – The Local Government Company for Economic Services – is the executive arm of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel (Masham), and is owned by all local authorities in Israel, offering services and tenders in various areas of local authority operations.

​MiC was established in 2019 and has since been assisting local authorities in becoming more innovative and familiar with the concept and world of smart cities.
