Slow Fashion Runway Challenge
As part of Toronto Climate Week 2026, Innotex Solutions & Collaborations Inc. presents a slow fashion runway experience exploring the future of fashion through sustainability, creativity, and collaboration. This event brings together emerging designers from across Toronto to create original garments and accessories using repurposed and natural textiles. Each piece reflects an individual creative perspective while contributing to a larger conversation around circular design. This event is designed as an intimate and community-oriented experience, the runway goes beyond presentation. It creates space for connection, dialogue, and discovery—highlighting both the creative process and the people behind the work. The Slow Fashion Runway Challenge is intended for creatives, sustainability advocates, and anyone interested in the evolving landscape of fashion and climate-conscious design.
For Designers (Application Opportunity): Innotex Solutions & Collaborations Inc. invites emerging designers to apply to participate in the runway showcase. This opportunity is ideal for designers looking to build their portfolio, experiment with natural materials, and present their work within a collaborative environment. Designers will receive a curated selection of surplus fabric from Innotex. Selected designers will: create and present an original look using provided repurposed textiles, gain hands-on runway experience in a live event setting, and connect with local creatives, industry professionals, and attendees. For Attendees: Join us for an evening of fashion, connection, and conversation within Toronto’s slow fashion community. The experience includes: a live runway show featuring emerging designers, opportunities to connect with designers and fellow creatives, and drinks and small bites in a relaxed, social setting.
