SDCW: PEOPLE SUMMIT
Join us at the University of San Diego for the People Summit, an eventful, community‑powered afternoon celebrating regenerative business, local climate leadership, and hands‑on action.
This is an immersive sustainability experience. Mend your clothes/bikes at the Fix‑it Clinic, refresh your wardrobe at a clothing swap hosted by I Love a Clean San Diego, and enjoy an Upcycled Fashion Show that brings circularity to life. As the final day of San Diego Climate Week, the People Summit also serves as our wrap party - a moment to connect, celebrate, and close out the week together.

5:00 – 7:00 PM • Circular Marketplace
Interactive tabling featuring local nonprofits and businesses across food, agriculture, clothing, waste, refill, and more.
Zero Waste SD — Clothing & Bike Repair Bring your clothes and bikes and learn repair skills from local experts.
I Love a Clean San Diego — Community Clothing Swap Refresh your wardrobe without the footprint. Bring quality items and take home new favorites.
In Good Company — Textiles Workshop Learn more about the environmental cost and impacts of textiles.
…and plenty of other engaging activations throughout the marketplace.
7:30 – 8:00 PM • Fashion Show
SDCW presents: An Evening at the Garden of the Sea A fashion show featuring local designers and stylists who champion upcycling, textile sustainability, and slow fashion.
Enjoy music, light bites, and drinks as we celebrate creativity and climate‑forward design.
8:00 – 9:00 PM • Closing Celebration
