second life at the table
Moments x Nourish
A conversation with Jorge Aguilar of Wasted
An overlooked ingredient.
A shared table.
Another way forward.
What might we discover in the ingredients we’re ready to throw away?
Wasted began around a dinner table in Copenhagen, turning surplus bread into pasta and bringing people together over a shared meal.
For this special Moments gathering, Jorge Aguilar joins us ahead of his appearance at Nourish for a closer conversation about food, imagination, and the pleasure of making something worth sharing.
We’ll explore how overlooked ingredients can become beginnings, how a dinner can become a community, and what changes when we give good food another chance.
Not a product presentation.
A conversation about looking again.
Pull up a chair.
Bring your curiosity.
What we’ll explore
A second life for ingredients
How attention, craft, and imagination can reveal possibility in what we have learned to overlook.
From one table to a community
How a shared meal can become the beginning of a culture, a company, and a wider movement.
Making something people genuinely want
Why impact becomes more powerful when pleasure, quality, and usefulness are not treated as compromises.
What food carries forward
The relationships, memories, and new ideas that begin when something is placed at the center of a table and shared.
Moments
Moments creates intimate encounters across the year, giving one practitioner, one question, or one place the attention it deserves.
Small in scale.
Generous in exchange.
This gathering offers time to listen more closely, ask questions, and follow an idea before it becomes a finished answer.
These conversations begin long before November and continue afterward across our constellations.
Attendance
Complimentary, with registration.
This welcoming is created for the semi permanent, WPÜ, and Ü Culture communities, together with friends joining us from Tokyo and beyond.
Space is limited.

About Wasted
Wasted is a Copenhagen-born food company giving surplus bread a second life as pasta.
Its work begins with a simple belief: good food belongs with people, not in landfills.
By bringing chefs, friends, and communities together around shared tables, Wasted explores how food waste can become an invitation to imagine differently.
Less waste.
More possibility.
Something worth sharing.
Continue at Nourish
This conversation continues at Nourish, where Jorge joins chefs, producers, farmers, fermenters, scientists, designers, researchers, and cultural thinkers exploring the future of food and hospitality.
Moments offers the closer conversation.
Nourish opens it into a wider room.
Each gathering requires separate registration or ticketing.

Jorge Aguilar / Wasted
Co-founder and chief marketing officer, Wasted
Jorge Aguilar is a creative and brand builder working across food, culture, and community.
As co-founder and chief marketing officer of Wasted, he is helping shape a Copenhagen-born food company that turns rescued bread into pasta, and uses the shared table as a place for connection, imagination, and change.
Wasted had a community before it had a product. What began as a dinner among friends has grown into gatherings, collaborations, and shared meals across cities and cultures.
Jorge’s work explores how an idea can move from message to material practice: from an overlooked ingredient to something people want to eat, share, and gather around.
