About Event

Co-hosted with the Congressional Staff Association on Artificial Intelligence.

This briefing will examine what frontier AI benchmarks reveal about emerging model capabilities, where open-source systems are advancing most rapidly, and how benchmarks can serve as early indicators of inflection points in AI development — often before these shifts are widely visible in public discourse or policy debates.

ARC Prize Foundation is an independent U.S.-based nonprofit developing benchmarks and evaluation infrastructure to measure and guide AI progress. ARC-AGI benchmarks are used by leading labs, including OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Anthropic, and xAI, as well as by U.S. CAISI at NIST and the UK AI Security Institute. The foundation produces independent, empirical signals on frontier AI capabilities to support research, standards development, and evidence-based policymaking.
