Overview on workshop leads:
Ngozi Cadmus
Ngozi Cadmus is a Social Worker, Psychotherapist, TEDx Speaker, and AI Entrepreneur who sits at the rare intersection of mental health expertise and cutting-edge technology. With over a decade of experience supporting healing and wellbeing, Ngozi is now pioneering the next frontier: using artificial intelligence as a tool for mental health innovation, representation, and liberation.
After building an online mental health business that generated over £1 million in revenue, Ngozi made a bold pivot — launching TruTones.ai, the world’s first bias-free AI image and video tool for the Global Majority. With no technical background, she built it in one month for £500 — a project that industry standards would have priced at £100,000 over six months. This is proof that you don’t need to code to build with AI — you need vision, strategy, and the right tools.
Ngozi’s work is driven by a core belief: AI must be a tool for healing, not harm. As a mental health professional turned AI innovator, she understands the ethical stakes of technology in therapeutic and community spaces. She brings both lived experience and professional authority to conversations about how AI can support stress management, emotional wellbeing, and accessible mental health solutions — especially for communities historically excluded from these conversations.
Through her signature AI Leverage Loop™, Ngozi has guided hundreds of entrepreneurs and practitioners to harness AI without technical expertise. Tonight, she brings that same empowering, hands-on approach to this workshop — helping attendees bridge the gap between mental health advocacy and artificial intelligence.
Representation is liberation — and for Ngozi, AI is one of the most powerful tools we have to make that real.
Rose Carew
Rose Carew is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) practitioner providing specialist support and training to service managers, support workers, and the wider care network around adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. With over a decade of experience in the mental health sector, she brings comprehensive expertise across therapeutic practice, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and applied behaviour analysis (ABA)—working with children, young people, and adults who have autism, learning disabilities, and mood disorders. Her commitment to holistic mental wellbeing extends beyond clinical practice into community-focused work. In Hackney, she has initiated and led a food insecurity program and contributed to homeless outreach initiatives, recognising the profound interconnection between basic needs, community support, and mental health outcomes. Beyond traditional practice, Rose is exploring innovative intersections between technology and mental wellbeing. She recently created the Somto series, using AI-driven storytelling and animation to advance autism awareness and education, with particular focus on trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity.
