​Sion is an Investment Director at VenCap, a fund of funds specialising in venture capital. VenCap was founded in 1987 and is one of the longest-established investment management and advisory firms active in the VC industry today.

​Sion leads VenCap’s Primary investment strategy, covering all aspects of the investment process, including strategy, research, sourcing, due diligence, manager selection, monitoring and reporting. He is also involved in Secondary transactions, both LP- and GP-led, as well as fundraising. Sion manages VC relationships across the US, Europe, China and India. Fund strategies are primarily technology-focused and span from early stage to venture growth. He is a CFA charterholder and a native Welsh speaker.
