About Event

This month at Soapbox Seattle (the city's most joyful community space), our theme is nature-based solutions & climate resilience —and we're closing it out with a night of reflection, imagination, and trivia.

This month’s art activity will focus on nature-based artwork. Bring leaves, sticks, seeds, and other found natural material to incorporate into pieces of art. Local artist Samantha Yap will lead with a short talk on breaking down material properties to incorporate into interesting abstract pieces.

We'll also have team-based pub-style trivia game themed around nature-based solutions, all for fun so don't worry about your expertise-level to participate.

Whether you come for the conversation, the trivia, the crafts, or just to unwind with climate-minded friends, we’d love to have you.

The general plan:

  • 6-6:45 - dinner & yap

  • 6:45-7:30 - craft art activity

  • 7:30-8:15 - trivia in teams

  • 8:15-9:00 - continued crafts (optional) and mingling

Request a reparative ticket here if needed.

This space is hosted by Soapbox Project, a nonprofit that creates joyful community structures to heal our climate anxiety and loneliness through expertly facilitated connection, learning, and action activities. Find your place in the climate movement with our online and in-person community!
