Where is Tandon at the Yard?
Tandon at the Yard is located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, on the third floor of Building 22.
How do I get through the gate?
Prior to your arrival, you will receive an email from us with a QR code attached to it. You will need to have access to that pass in order to check in at the security gate.
Driving, Lyft & Uber:
Whether you are driving or requesting a car, the address you are going to want to put in the GPS/navigation is 299 Sands St, Brooklyn, NY 11205. This address will bring you to the Navy Yard entrance closest to Tandon at the Yard. You can drive through the gate and up to the security guard and they will let you through.
Moon Davé, Processing Project Lead, will give a 30-minute talk and Q&A on why artists should build their own tools, drawing on examples from SuperCollider and custom radio work.
Elekhlekha อีเหละเขละขละ, Processing Foundation Fellow, will present both an installation and a live coding performance that incorporates a multiplayer gong ensemble where visitors can join in through their phones.

Line-Up
Moon Davé is a sound artist, musician, software engineer, and creative tool maker based in NYC. She works with modular synthesizers, supercollider, and loves Linux. She is passionate about building FLOSS tools for the purpose of teaching computational thinking through art.
elekhlekha อีเหละเขละขละ is a collaborative research-based group consisting of artists, Kengchakaj–เก่งฉกาจ and Nitcha–ณิชชา(เฟม), interested in subversive storytelling using sound and visual archives, researching into historical context, and using multimedia and technology to experiment and explore and define decolonized possibilities.
Torin Blankensmith is a freelance creative technologist, real-time graphics artist, and educator specializing in mixed-reality installations, interactive experiences, and open-source creative tools. He’s the co-creator of Shader Park, a JavaScript library for interactive procedural shaders, and the MediaPipe plugin for TouchDesigner.
Dan Gorelick blends classical cello and computation to create immersive experiences and improvisational performances. He explores how to make the computer as expressive as the cello, embracing broader definitions of technology. His practice investigates human and non-human timescales (biological, geological, deep time and others), encouraging us to connect more with ourselves, each other and the natural world.
Reckoner is a New York-based computer-songwriter project by Sumanth Srinivasan. Drawing from krautrock, trip hop and glitch, his music is a fusion of live sampling, guitar, live coded rhythms and melodic vocals. Reckoner has released a full length album, several EPs and recently performed a series of shows in Europe.
