Lord of the Rings: One Marathon to Rule Them All [public]

​From the first step out of the Shire to the final fading of the Elves, this is a full-day pilgrimage through Middle-earth — and all are welcome.

​On January 31st, we’ll be watching the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings back-to-back, from opening bell to closing time. This is not a casual viewing, but a cozy, communal endurance ritual: epic scores, whispered quotes, spontaneous laughter, and the steady rhythm of microwave popcorn fueling the Fellowship.

​Costumes are heavily encouraged. Those who arrive without one will be swiftly and lovingly “be-costumed” upon entry. Come for an hour or stay for all twelve — the road is long, but no one walks it alone. 🌄

​🕰 Flow / Schedule

• ​9:00 AM — Doors open, settling in, costume embellishments

• ​Morning — The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition)

• ​Midday — Short stretch & snack breaks as time permits

• ​Afternoon — The Two Towers (Extended Edition)

• ​Evening — Final breaks, popcorn replenishment, emotional grounding

• ​Night — The Return of the King (Extended Edition)

• ​~10:00 PM — Closing time, gentle re-entry into the mortal world

​Breaks will be brief and flexible — this is a long road.
