This event focuses on using Zed to build a plugin for TRMNL that puts information where it belongs: visible, but not distracting.

​Challenge ideas can includes:

• ​Developer tools (e.g., build status, PR reviews, deployment alerts, who's working on what)

• ​Team coordination (e.g., standup summaries, availability, focus mode indicators, meeting reminders)

• ​Personal productivity (e.g., todo lists, calendar + weather, transit times, workout tracking)

• ​Data monitoring (e.g., analytics dashboards, API health checks, system status, uptime monitors)

• ​Ambient awareness (e.g., GitHub activity, crypto prices, news feeds, community stats)

​Judges and mentors:

​Schedule:

• ​6:00pm - Show up, eat something. Start forming your team.

• ​6:30pm - We'll show you what Zed and TRMNL actually do (quick demos). Plus Q&A and meeting the mentors.

• ​7:00-9:00pm - Hack

• ​9:00 - 9:30pm - Demos!

• ​9:30 - 10:00pm - Time for judges choose a winner

• ​10:00 - 10:30pm - Winners are announced!
