OCTIA Early-Stage Cleantech Investment Pitch Session
Introducing our second annual Toronto Climate Week (TOCW) Investment Pitch Session organised by the Ontario Clean Technology Industry Association (OCTIA), taking place June 3rd from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the offices of Fasken in the Bay-Adelaide Centre, Toronto.
We are now accepting pitch decks emailed to [email protected] as applications to present (five companies will be scheduled) from Canadian clean technology companies with Technology Readiness Level of 7 to 9, seeking $1 to $5 million in seed-stage capital.
This is going to be the social & networking event of the season for Ontario's clean technology industry! Audience members will have the opportunity to network with many experienced clean technology executives and investors, and to learn from the best when it comes to pitching your business for investment!
A panel of six investors will judge (including Jane Kearns from Evok Innovations, Mark Lawrence of Angel Investors Ontario, Paul Manias from Diagram Ventures, Daniel Nieto of BDC Seed Venture Fund, Leah Perry of Wittington Ventures, and Nelson Switzer from Climate Innovation Capital).
Judges will also participate in a question-and-answer session which, like last time, should be very informative as a peer-learning opportunity for all entrepreneurs and investors in attendance!
The selected winner will get an official seal of selection usable on LinkedIn profiles and messaging, linking to acknowledgement on the OCTIA website.
Refreshments are also being provided by Fasken, as the official legal partner of TOCW!
