  • Grab your badge, meet your peers, and drop your handles on the shared “wall of profiles.”

🎙 09:30 – 10:15| Welcome & Speed-Networking

  • Short welcome by Simon Sällström (@impactFounderJourney), founder of DirectEd Development & Tison.io.

  • Overview of the day and goals.

  • Then, we'll be doing 1-min speed networking sessions so that people can get a sense of who else is here and who's looking to do the same thing!

💡 10:15– 10:45 | 'The Content Battle Plan’ (workshop) with Giles Mallinson. Content creator & socials manager at Encode Club

    • How to structure content using Share, Teach, Show

    • How content ratios change for growth vs sales

    • When to focus on growing an audience vs monetising

    • How often to post and where to post short form

    • Why you do not need a niche at the start and how to get past the fear of posting

  • 11:00 - 11:30: "Starting Content: Planning Before Action"

    • HannaYin Lindgren has worked as a Content Creator specialised in video with over 6 years of experience, holding a Masters in Documentary Filmmaking from UCL. She is an expert in end-to-end production, from pre-production planning and workflows to production, interviews and filming, to final post-production delivery in the edit.

    • How do you plan a shoot? Tips and tricks to make a professional grade reel?

    • Come here for storytelling fundamentals and film creation.

  • 12:00 - 12:30: Practical hacks to make it easy to produce video content consistently with Simon Sällström.

Ideas on what you can work on

  • Personal Brand

    • Bio rewrite and consistent cross-platform look.

    • New profile picture snap shot.

    • Banner updates.

    • One standout “intro” post or video draft.

    • Peer feedback circles and quick profile audits.

  • Video & Podcast Track. Attend the talk and get started with brainstorming or filming Reels, shorts, interviews, and setup tutorials.

  • Written & Design Track. Dump all ideas and things you think you can share with the world! Start to set up a schedule of written posts, carousels, newsletters, and visual templates for the year!

Suggested Activities

  • Make the first post (about the hackathon!!) on your socials

  • Ask peers for feedback on the work you've done for the day!

  • Schedule in all the content you managed to create today.

  • Templatise and set up systems/reminders so that you block out time to do this for the rest of the year.
