The Zakros Discovery Series concludes with a live, public event co‑hosted by Artistic Director Randall Packer and Director of Community Engagement Phyllis Hecht. On Wednesday, November 12, 4PM EST, join us to unlock what we’ve learned: critical online tactics for artists and arts organizations.

As the culmination of ongoing sessions with community leaders in Washington, DC and beyond, this event surfaces urgent questions: how to mobilize online practices for social change, support live performance across distance, enable artistic collaboration, build virtual community, and cultivate collective knowledge.

This session opens the conversation to a wider community of arts organizations, practitioners, and curious publics to consider how we can embrace innovation in online practices, strengthen community building across distance, and cultivate collective knowledge‑making. We’ll highlight Zakros’s unique role as one of the few organizations sustaining a continuously operating virtual telematic theater, where art, technology, and social engagement meet in real time.
