Why now

AI agents are blowing up old workflows. What took weeks now happens in minutes. Entire industries are up for grabs. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to build—this is your edge.

What this is

A five-day global hackathon to design, build, and ship agentic AI: systems that can navigate complex environments, make decisions, and execute tasks with minimal human intervention. Alongside the online comp, local Builder Nights run worldwide—Amsterdam included.

Amsterdam Builder Night (4 hours)

A focused evening to kick off with the community: watch the global stream together, form teams, start building, get feedback, and meet other agents-obsessed builders.

Agenda (Amsterdam time, CEST):

  • Tuesday Sep 16, 18:00 — Global Opening Ceremony (watch party). You can find teammates, ideas and inspiration here.

  • Sunday Sep 21st - Networking and closing

Can’t make the Night? You can still join the global hackathon and tag Amsterdam as your hub.

Specifics will be sent to your email asap!

Timeline (Amsterdam time)

  • Registration ends: Sun Sep 15, 22:59

  • Opening Ceremony: Tuesday Sep 16, 18:00

  • Build week: Sep 16–21 (workshops & mentoring throughout)

  • Submission deadline: Sun Sep 21, 11:00

  • Awards & Closing Ceremony: Sun Sep 21, 18:00

Prizes

$10,000 in cash and AI credits (TBA), plus visibility to investors, partners, and community leaders.

Why join

  • Ship something real in 5 days (not just a demo).

  • Automate what sucks—solve a painful, real problem.

  • Get seen by investors, potential co-founders, and the global AI community.

  • Meet builders who care about impact as much as shipping.

  • Learn fast with hands-on workshops and mentors from EWOR & byFounders.

Tracks & what counts as an “agent”

Any project where an AI system perceives → decides → acts, ideally in a loop. Examples: autonomous research assistants, ops automations, data pipelines with tool use, customer support agents, AI ops for startups, or domain-specific copilots that actually execute.

Team & rules (lightweight)

  • Solo or teams up to 5

  • Any stack / tools allowed

  • You own your IP

  • Submit a short demo video + repo link by the deadline

Who should come

Engineers, product folks, designers, ops hackers, researchers, and anyone who wants to build with AI and make it useful.

What to bring

Laptop, charger, and your problem to attack. We’ll handle Wi-Fi & power; good vibes mandatory.
