Join us to Spotlight, SFU’s very first Treehouse Showcase, a night of creativity, community, and demos. From art and design to apps, games, and stories, you’ll meet the makers behind projects that will inspire and spark conversation.
The Timeline
6:00–6:30 PM — Reception, food, and networking
6:30–7:00 PM — Welcome remarks
7:00-8:50 PM — Main event (no entry during demos!)
8:50–9:30 PM — Networking & chill

Expect a mix of makers across disciplines: games, design, hardware, websites, storytelling, and more!

When should I arrive?
Come by 6:00 PM for food and vibes. Please arrive before 6:45 PM; entry will only be allowed between presentations, not during.
Where is it?
At SFU Student Union Building, SUB Ballroom (5000) - Top floor.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope, just yourself and your curiosity ;)
Will there be food?
Yes! Snacks and drinks included.
What is Treehouse?
Treehouse is SFU’s local node of Socratica, a global collective of makers, artists, researchers, and builders. It’s a place to share ideas, explore curiosity, and create together.
