The Reimagination of Good Clothes: What You Take Off Matters
What are good clothes? Good for the body that wears them. Good for the hands that make them. Good for the communities they move through. Good for the earth they come from and the future they help shape.
Presented by Fusion Fashion Tech Society in collaboration with LIM College, the 2026 Fusion Fashion Tech Summit brings together industry, academia, and community to explore what a more humane, circular, and regenerative fashion system can become.
This year’s theme, The Reimagination of Good Clothes: What You Take Off Matters, asks us to consider what fashion must shed, from outdated systems and extractive practices to assumptions and behaviors that no longer serve people or the planet.
The Seven Communities
Our conversations are organized around seven interconnected communities:
What We Remember: Ancestral Knowledge, Storytelling & System Innovation
Sustainable Design & Independent Labels
Material Innovation & Next-Gen Textiles
Fashion Tech & Platform Builders
Supply Chain, Economic Development & Transparency Innovation
Circular Economy & Regenerative Systems
Consumer Education & Behavior Change
Across one day, one stage, seven communities, and twelve sessions, designers, technologists, founders, researchers, policymakers, students, educators, investors, and cultural leaders will exchange ideas, build relationships, and explore solutions across the fashion ecosystem.
Ron Marshall, President of LIM College, will join the Summit as a featured speaker, bringing an important perspective on education, industry leadership, and preparing the next generation to shape fashion’s future.
The Summit is hosted by Ambriel Pouncy, Founder and Executive Director of Fusion Fashion Tech Society, a social innovation executive, global speaker, and Columbia University guest lecturer whose work sits at the intersection of fashion, technology, sustainability, culture, and systems change.
Expect keynote conversations, cross-sector panels, innovation showcases, marketplace experiences, circular fashion activations, and intentional opportunities to connect.
Come to find your community and connect across communities.
Because good clothes are not only about what we make or wear. They reflect the systems, values, relationships, and communities we choose to build.
