Rehuman, Cyborg: Wearable Motor Workshop
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design and build your own wearable motor accessory — a moving helmet, a vibrating bracelet, or a rotating necklace — using simple DC motors and everyday materials.
As you attach your creation to your body, you’ll experience what it means to blur the line between human and machine. The workshop invites you to feel technology from within — to explore how movement, vibration, and sound can extend your senses and alter your perception of self.
By the end of the session, you’ll have built a small kinetic device that reacts with your body — a personal, living interface between flesh and mechanism.
You’ll leave not only with your wearable sculpture, but also with a deeper awareness of how technology can connect, amplify, and transform us.
What you’ll gain:
– Learn to build simple motor-driven wearables
– Experiment with body-machine interaction
– Explore movement and perception as creative materials
– Experience the sensation of becoming-cyborg
Materials provided: DC motor, battery, PVC hose, paper, and more.
