About Our Featured Guests

Dr. Teri Watson is an architect, material researcher, and founder of YEN Studio, a research-driven design practice advancing resilient building systems through material innovation. With over a decade of professional experience in architecture and construction, her career began in Miami, contributing to high-profile luxury retail and commercial projects in the Design District, including Thom Browne, Aesop, and Blue Dot.

Her early work in high-performance retail environments evolved into large-scale project leadership, earning her recognition as an AIA Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Project Manager of the Year in 2023 for excellence in project delivery and interdisciplinary coordination. Over time, Watson’s experience led her to expand her practice beyond traditional architecture into a hybrid model that integrates material science, sustainability, and marine ecology.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Florida A&M University, a Master of Architecture, and recently earned a Doctorate of Design from Florida International University. Her work now investigates the use of invasive seaweed as a cementitious substitute for building components in marine and civil infrastructure, bridging architecture and environmental systems to address embodied carbon and coastal infrastructure through innovation.

Annie B. Trachtenberg is a Miami native and Owner/Broker of Devtrac LLC, a commercial real estate brokerage with headquarters in Miami, FL. Devtrac Properties was founded in 2019 by and Annie and her husband, Jordan Trachtenberg AIA, NCARB, LEED AP. The real estate brokerage firm offers a personalized and collaborative approach when working with developers, investors, and businesses. Annie is highly skilled and has a deep understanding of the Florida market. With support from the Devtrac team and collaborators she can dissect the zoning code while discovering highest and best use for client's intended goals. Beyond her professional endeavors, Annie ardently champions South Florida businesses and fulfills roles as a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She is a graduate of Florida State University.

Annie Goldman studied Interior Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City and began her career with Domino Magazine at Condé Nast. She simultaneously built her career as an independent wardrobe and prop stylist represented by Ford Talent Agency and as a self-employed interior designer, spending over 20 years creating thoughtful, livable spaces and working on high-level advertising and marketing projects.

Today, Annie is the Business Development Manager for Chelle Construction and White Cap Luxury Homes, connecting her team of skilled builders with clients, designers, and architects to bring vision to life. Honest and relationship-driven, she focuses on building long-term partnerships — not just completing projects.

She serves on the board of NAWIC Miami, lives in Pinecrest with her husband and two boys, and stays actively involved in her community. Annie believes success comes down to reputation, relationships, and trust.
