📅 Tuesday, 25 November | 🕘 14:00-15:00
Learn how the Ukraine Energy Support Fund (UESF) is helping restore Ukraine’s critical energy infrastructure and how Estonian cleantech companies can play a role.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and the Department for Connectivity and Climate Diplomacy have invited Adam Balogh from the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna – one of the key organizations behind the fund’s creation.
About the Fund:
The Ukraine Energy Support Fund was created by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine in agreement with the European Commission. Its purpose is to mitigate the impact of Russian attacks on Ukraine’s energy systems by providing vital financial support. The fund helps cover urgent needs like equipment, fuel, spare parts, and services to keep the energy and heat supply running across the country.
Why it matters for Estonian cleantech companies:
The Fund offers a potential pathway for Estonian clean energy and technology companies to contribute to Ukraine’s energy recovery efforts and creates new opportunities to supply sustainable technologies and services that strengthen Ukraine’s long-term energy resilience.
