You are not allowed to pitch your own company or deal.
This is not a place to come fundraise as a founder. This is just for connectors who usually do deals like fundraising.
You get two chances to come in unprepared, unclear, or not ready to use your time well. After that, the way you earn back trust in this room is by helping other people move their opportunities forward.
Some of you are early. Some of you are highly experienced. Some of you may be in a season of building. Some may be in a season of giving back. Some may be here because someone personally vouched for you. That is fine.
What matters here is not where you started. What matters is whether you are prepared, respectful of other people’s time, and serious about helping move real deals.
This room is about results. It is about getting the right people connected. It is about relationships and inspiration too, but this room is specifically focused on deals and moving opportunities forward.
