After graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from BYU, Laura Leavitt launched her career in New York City, working on branding, packaging, and book publishing projects for clients such as Band-Aid, Steven Heller, WNET, and BECCA Cosmetics. A shift into UX design brought her back to Utah, where she discovered a passion for data visualization at Domo, creating apps for the Super Bowl and Nielsen TV Rankings. At Instructure, she advanced her focus on impact-driven design by building an AI tool to identify and support struggling students. Outside of work, she co-founded three startups, blending creativity with entrepreneurial passion. Today, Laura is Head of Design at Philo Ventures, where she partners with multiple startups simultaneously—shaping their brands, user experiences, and product identities.
