Ready to grow something good? We're so excited about our new club garden plot (#35!) at the Fountain Community Garden, and we want you to help us get it started at our spring planting day!
This will be a fun and refreshing day of spending a couple hours in the beautiful garden as we prep our raised bed and planting a large variety of veggies from tomatoes, cucumber, eggplants, and more. 🍅🥒🥬 We're already looking forward to a tomato tasting party in July when all our varieties will be ready for harvest! 😋
So if you've always wanted to be part of a community garden where you can connect with others who value locally-powered food systems, getting your hands dirty, and learning about what it takes to grow high density food effectively in a small space, then this is your invitation to join us!

11:15am: Review + discuss planting plan with expert gardener, Sanjay Gupta
11:30am: Start digging, prepping bed, and planting!
12:30pm: Share a drink and cheers to our new garden 🥂

This event invites our club and the broader community to actively engage in a community garden in the heart of Los Angeles. Participants will gain hands-on experience and practical skills for growing vegetables and plants, which is knowledge they can carry forward into future garden projects.
We’ll document and share our journey on social media, extending the impact beyond the garden and inspiring others to follow along.
Our vision is to cultivate community through the healing power of shared green spaces. In a dense urban environment, this garden creates a rare opportunity to reconnect with the land, reimagine what our cities can be, and build relationships with others who share that vision.
