Midjourney Moodboards for Iconic Style

Hosted by The House of Curiosity
Facilitator: Brian
Sunday, February 8, 2026
11:00 AM to 12:30 PM ET
Free to attend

Midjourney can feel like a brilliant machine with a sense of humor. One day you get magic. The next day you get chaos. Same prompt, same idea, totally different universe.

Brian does not negotiate with chaos. He tests.

If you have seen Brian’s work, you know the signature. Depth. Intention. A photographer’s eye. The kind of images that feel like they belong to a world. The part people always miss is that it is not accidental. He can repeat that style on purpose, across a whole body of work, because he builds a system that stays steady while he experiments.

The tool he gets asked about the most is not a prompt. It is his moodboards.

In this session, we are going to walk through Brian’s moodboard workflow for Midjourney and how he uses it to lock an iconic style. He is constantly experimenting with style controls (SREF, global profile, no profile, moodboard-first, and whatever else is worth testing that week), and we are keeping this workshop flexible so he can flow with what he is currently exploring while still giving you a method you can reuse immediately.

What you will learn and practice

  • How Brian builds a moodboard that actually drives Midjourney results

  • What makes a style feel “iconic” instead of random

  • How to translate a moodboard into prompt language you can reuse

  • How moodboards interact with other style controls (including global profiles and SREF)

  • How to run simple tests so you know what changed and why

Who this is for

If you have ever made one incredible image and then could not get back to it, this is for you. If you want consistency without killing the creative energy, also for you. Beginners are welcome, experienced creators will have plenty to chew on.

Bring a project, or show up with curiosity. Both work.
