Earthtones Festival

​Join us for Earthtones, Stanford’s annual student-run Environmental Justice Festival, happening at the O’Donohue Family Farm on Saturday, April 26th! 💚

​Earthtones is a re-imagining of Earth Day that celebrates students of color and their connection to the land through art, music, and activism. This year’s theme — "Belonging to the Land, Not the Nation" — invites us to reflect on our relationships with land, identity, and community beyond borders.

​SCHEDULE:

​11:00 AM — Festival Kickoff (ft. Stanford Mariachi, Stanford American Indian Organization, and free snacks and charcuterie!)

​11:15 AM — Short Film Screening of "Basandja" (ft. filmmaker Petna Katondolo and Samuel Yagase, an Indigenous rainforest protector from the Congo Basin)

​12:30 PM — Art Workshops and Food Catering (ft. lunch from Momo Grill, flower-crown making, screenprinting, textile weaving, and more)

​1:00 PM — Student Performances (ft. Noopur, Swingtime, Lion Dance, Cardinal Calypso, and more)

​2:30 PM — Farmworker & Migrant Justice Panel (ft. Sandra Sencion from ALAS and Beatriz Basurto from 805 UndocuFund, plus fresh desserts from Pepito's Paletas)

​3:30 PM — Closing Performance (Hot Pocket Nepo Baby)
