Season 1 · Chapter 2. Second episode of a documentary series following a small group of Bay Area founders through a year of outdoor challenges.
What is the "Basecamp"?
This is our core skills event. It is designed for the "adventure-curious."
Whether you’ve never touched a motorcycle or you’ve ridden before and want to refine your technique, this is the place to start.
IMPORTANT: If you are a beginner/ never rode before/ or rode last time more than 5 years ago Basecamp is required to be able to join our next Dirt Biking Adventure ride in Tahoe.
The Plan
We keep each group tight - capped at 12.
Warm-up & Practice: We start with a 1.5-hour session with a professional instructor covering the bike, body position and clutch fundamentals. You practice under supervision until you feel solid.
Exploration: Once you’re comfortable, we head out. You’ll ride across basecamp moto trails through forests and hills. This is where you push your boundaries.
Comedown: After the ride, we head to our Airbnb to cook BBQ, grab a drink, and play poker.
Who is this for?
Founders & Investors: You want a full mental reset with good people in a non-transactional environment.
All Levels: You don't need a driver's license. You just need to be comfortable balancing on a bicycle and understand the concept of a manual transmission (clutch + gears).
Supportive Group: We curate the group to be diverse and supportive. This isn't a "boys club" - we strongly value our female riders and beginners.
The Logistics
When: Saturday, July 11 | 9:30 AM - Saturday, Jul 11 | 7 PM.
Where: South Bay (exact location sent upon approval).
We coordinate carpooling.Cost: paid event (includes rentals and BBQ dinner).

How to Join
We have 5 slots open for new folks outside our existing member group.
Registrations are approved on a rolling basis to keep the group balanced.
