Objective
Assessing usability indicators across investments: Effectiveness, Efficiency, Satisfaction
Overview
The third session moves from shared frameworks to applied evaluation. Participants examine how usability indicators — effectiveness, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction — function across real investment cases.
Drawing on organisational experience and previously presented valuation techniques, the session interrogates the operational feasibility, data availability, and policy alignment of selected indicators. Participants assess how indicators perform across project lifecycles and institutional contexts, identifying where methodological harmonisation is viable and where context-specific adaptation remains necessary.
The session generates project-level assessments that test indicator robustness in preparation for back-testing and deeper technical modelling.
NOTE: This is a closed session. Participation is limited to those who attended Sessions 1 and 2 to ensure continuity of context and technical grounding.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
• Assess the applicability and robustness of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction indicators across investment cases.
• Analyse the maturity, coverage, and methodological controversies associated with selected valuation techniques.
• Evaluate the operational feasibility of applying these indicators within development bank policy frameworks.
• Determine where harmonised approaches are viable and where tailored methodologies are required for back-testing.
