About Event

Think decision making is either inclusive - or effective and efficient?
You actually can have it all!

Sociocracy gives structure to how to collaborate together toward a shared aim - in a relational way that brings forward motion to our groups and organizations.

On April 16, you have an opportunity to learn and experience how to do it! Sociocracy is the groundbreaking decision-making method transforming how organizations collaborate. For one day, we will focus on how to make better decisions (inclusively and faster!), enhance communication, and set things up for co-responsibility.

Here’s what we’ll do:

  • Look at different ways to organize decision-making and land on a way that blends the best ingredients: clarity, many perspectives, autonomy and alignment with the circle structure and roles in sociocracy.

  • Consent decision-making: how we make decisions to move forward, hear from each other and without getting lost in the weeds.

  • Meetings matter! How can we make the best of our precious time together? If you’re a facilitator of meetings (or want to be one), this topic will give you confidence and clear step-by-step tools to use in your next meetings.

  • By the end of this workshop, you will walk away with a solid understanding of how sociocracy works, and how to use the foundational tools in your organizations!

“I learned a lot and have a great understanding of the Sociocracy process after the beginners’ class. It was engaging and enjoyable. I appreciate the opportunity to work with folks from many backgrounds through the class exercises. I am looking forward to continuing my sociocracy education and implementing it in my groups!”
