GrabMaps API Hackathon

​Be among the first to build with unreleased GrabMaps APIs. This exclusive beta hackathon welcomes developers of all skill levels to rapidly prototype, stress-test, and shape the future of GrabMaps before official launch.

​You'll get elevated API credits throughout the day, hands-on guidance from Grab engineers, and ~7 hours of hacking time to bring your ideas to life.

​Choose your track:

​🚗 Intelligent Mobility — Build solutions that improve how people, goods, and services move through cities. Think dynamic routing for delivery fleets, ETA comparisons across transport modes, or route planners that adapt to real-time incidents.

​🗺️ Discover the City — Maps are discovery engines. Build tools that help people uncover places, experiences, and communities — hyperlocal recommendations, curated map experiences, or social maps where users share favorite spots.

​📍 Smarter Places — Places have identity, activity, and context. Build tools that help businesses and users better understand them — richer POI pages, live trending location maps, or platforms that visualize activity around places.

​Schedule

• ​5:00 PM — Submissions due

• ​6:30 PM — Finals presentations

​Prizes Over $6,000 in total prizes across categories including Best Overall Project, Best Use of GrabMaps APIs, and Best Bug Hunter. All participants receive GrabMaps API credits and early access to the official platform at launch. Full prize details coming soon.
