Join us for a hands-on workshop exploring Strudel, a browser-based live coding language for making music with code. Whether this is your first time hearing about Strudel or you joined a previous session and want to go deeper, you’re welcome here.

Strudel lets you create beats, melodies, and evolving musical patterns by typing simple, expressive code - no software installs required. Think of it as writing instructions for music in real time: you change the code, and the sound changes instantly.

We’ll start with an introduction to Strudel fundamentals, covering how musical patterns, rhythms, and sounds are structured. From there, participants will have dedicated time to experiment and build their own songs using what we’ve learned. No prior coding or music experience is needed!

We’ll wrap up with a showcase where anyone who wants to share can play what they made. This is a chance to learn from each other, see different creative approaches, and get inspired by how many directions the same tools can go!
