Rogue Films: Made to Measure + Live Panel: Data, Power & Social Good
Join us at The Wharf for our second installment of Rogue Films, where we screen thought-provoking films at the intersection of tech and humanity, followed by panel discussions that continue the conversation.
The Film
We’ll be screening Made to Measure, an investigative-artistic data experiment from the group Laokoon, who create a person’s doppelganger based solely on their online data, exploring what traders do with the personal data of billions of people.
Stick around after the screening for a panel discussion and Q&A exploring the double-edged sword of data collection: how the technologies that expose us can also empower social good, and where we draw the line.
Content Notice: This film includes discussion of suicide, eating disorders, and pregnancy loss.
