Q-Day = D-Day? Will Quantum Break the Blockchain?
βπ‘ When Q-Day arrives, what happens to the cryptography securing digital assets?
βA working roundtable on quantum risk to blockchains, digital signatures, and the wider financial system, hosted by GFI's Convergence of Emerging Technologies SubCommittee.
βAs post-quantum capabilities move from theory toward operational reality, the cryptographic foundations underpinning crypto, blockchain infrastructure, and decentralised finance face direct exposure. This session brings together legal, security, and quantum specialists to examine the timeline, the legal and regulatory implications, and the practical preparedness gap across financial institutions in Asia.
ββ¨ WHY ATTEND?
βUnderstand what Q-Day means for wallets, blockchains, digital signatures, and trust in decentralised systems.
βHear the legal and regulatory framing of quantum risk from a Drew & Napier perspective.
βGet a realistic read on the threat timeline and the state of post-quantum cryptography.
βExchange views directly with GFI's SubCommittee leads in a roundtable format designed for participation.
βWhether you are a legal, compliance, security, or fintech leader, this session is your chance to engage directly with the specialists shaping how Singapore and the region prepare for quantum disruption.
