​​What is a UXL Design-a-thon? 🎨🍓

​​The UXL Design-a-thon is a hybrid/virtual event dedicated to encouraging students from all backgrounds to open up their minds, let their creativity flow, and create a user-centric design. We’re welcoming student designers across Canada to join us on the weekend of March 27th-29th, 2026. Get ready for a 36 hours of learning about design, practicing your skills, and meeting UX professionals through mentorship, networking, and workshops! 🛠️🌟

​​Who can participate? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

​​Any undergraduate student in Canada! We welcome ALL levels, backgrounds, universities, and colleges!

​​Teams 🤝

​​Students can work in teams of 2-4. **All team members must apply separately! Teams will work together on the same challenge for the entirety of the event to present their innovative, creative, and playful design.

No team? No problem! Sign up as a free agent, and UXL will match you with other passionate designers.
