The fund was created with the mission to combat plastic pollution by engaging U.S. philanthropies, corporations, governments, and individual donors and joining them with the projects undertaken by Plastic Odyssey through its entities Plastic Odyssey Foundation, and Plastic Odyssey Expedition.
