Urban Farmer’s Almanac Workshop with Climate Designers Boston
The Boston Climate Designers is working on a project called the Boston Urban Farmer’s Almanac — a community-made, digital zine for urban residents who want to feel more connected to the environment around them. We are heavily inspired by the amazing work in Urban Farmers' Almanac for Angelenos by the LA Climate Designers chapter.
Just like the Old Farmer’s Almanac, we want to reimagine what it means to reconnect with the seasons, our city, and each other — whether you have a garden or just a windowsill. The goal? To create a playful, practical guide for living more intentionally and sustainably in a metropolitan city like Boston.
We are excited to share current progress on the almanac and then dive into making physical collages together! This opportunity is a chance to co-create, share ideas, and explore everyday ways we can care for our environment and our community. It’ll be casual, hands-on, and welcoming — no expertise needed, just curiosity.
Come connect, contribute, and be part of something rooted in Boston, but grown by all of us.
