About Event

Join us for a experiential deep retrofit planning session at the new Enspire Potential: Immersive Cleantech Studio (EPICS). EPICS is a 360° Immersive Media Room with Touch Walls, 3D/VR/Digital Twin projection, and interactive green building modules. Learn from Jamie Fine, Canada Building Energy Modellers Network's (CBEMN) Guest Speaker as he explores how energy models support design decisions in retrofits, and demonstrates project scenarios to optimize deep energy, GHG, and cost savings.

Explore Deep Building retrofits via facilitated experiential learning. Participate in an interactive retrofit planning exercise, check out low carbon technologies in 360° mechanical rooms, watch multimedia deep retrofit case studies, and fly through low-carbon building autocad/revit models. Gain insights on best practices, find out about cleantech job oppourtunities, and access project/workforce funding resources.

About the Host: About EPICS

Enspire Potential: Immersive Cleantech Studio (EPICS) is a cutting-edge learning program launched recently by the BOMA Enspire Program. This free pilot project is open to cleantech project teams, sustainability professionals, building performance teams, and job seekers interested in cleantech and proptech careers in real estate.

EPICS experiential learning lessons replicate real-world operational and retrofit environments using 3D/VR/Digital Twin technology projected in our 15' x 15' BOMA Enspire Immersive Media Room with touch walls. Interactive facilitated sessions cover Retrofit Planning, Building Performance, Cleantech Career Pathways, and Smart Building Systems.
