STEM Action Center Pop-up Maker/ Micro-STEM Fest

​Join STEM Action Center in recruiting the next generation of scientists. Sign up to volunteer to run a station for K-6 students. No science knowledge required. Show up, have fun, inspire the next generation.

​AGENDA:

​Time:  Set up at 8:00-8:30 AM in the Gym (Parking on the West Side of the School that leads to the gym). 

​Two Sessions for students in K-6th grades with just over 300 students at the school.

​Student sessions, no more than 140 students per session:  Students need to be in the hall lined up at 8:25 for quick movement to their station. 

​8:30-9:25 AM students are placed, no more than 10 students per the 14 stations.  The students will have time for 6 stations with 8 minutes at each station.  Tables are labeled 1-14 so students if they start at table 3 move to table 4,5,6,7,8 (students will not get all 14 stations just the one they start with and the next 5 stations.  Table 14 moves to table 1.  At the end the students leave the gym through one door. 

​9:30-10:30 Same process with new students lined up at 9:25 with teacher to send the students to the stations.  They come to a different door to line up than the students leaving the gym.
