Workshop - MIMICRY

​We are pleased to host a new workshop, dedicated to Mimicry – our latest project, investigating the speculative evolution of hybrid species at the intersection of plants and insects.

​In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to meet part of our creative team and learn more about the production and development of this research-driven work.

​Mimicry examines how nature adapts and transforms, highlighting the adaptive strategies employed by species in response to ecological shifts triggered by climate change and human activities. The project envisions hybrid beings that fuse characteristics of insects and plants, exploring new forms of coexistence, symbiosis, and survival. Drawing inspiration from evolutionary processes such as mimicry and exaptation, the work challenges traditional boundaries between organism and environment, species and habitat.

​During the workshop, we will dive into the scientific research underpinning the project, including biome classification, and we will explain how these insights guided the creation of the visual language and hybrid species simulations.
