Mineral Acquisition Workshop!!

​On Tuesday Feb. 10 from 8 p.m. - 9 p.m., Sofie Roger, a chemical engineering master’s student, and Druhi Bhargava, a computer engineering alumni and previous Forge product lab director, will present on an educational tool on global mineral acquisition. This past fall, Druhi and Sofie developed a web application to visualize how 10 minerals commodities are processed, distributed and imported. We hope to have group discussion on the engineer's ethical considerations and global impact of the material supply chain, gain feedback on our tool, as well as provide a background on educational pedagogies we considered while forming the tool! There will be food/snacks! Make sure to bring a laptop!
