The Upskilling Labs: Health Systems Cycle Kick-Off (Jan 2026 Meetup)
On January 13, you’re invited into a new kind of upskilling meetup—one that treats learning as something you do with other people, around real problems, not in isolation.
We’re starting the year focused on health systems. Why?
First, because it’s January. Wellness, exercise, prevention, and care are already top of mind right now—for you, your family, and the people you work with. Healthcare feels personal at the start of a new year, and that makes it the right place to learn how emerging tools like AI actually touch real lives.
Second, because healthcare systems sit at the center of the workforce. They’re often the largest employers in a region, especially for women and working-class professionals, and they’re under immense pressure to do more with less. If you want to understand how AI will reshape jobs, skills, and pathways—not hypothetically, but in practice—healthcare is where those changes show up first.
Third, because healthcare is where complexity, urgency, and human stakes collide. Even if you don’t work in the industry, the forces shaping it right now—AI adoption, ethics, workforce strain, human-centered design—are the same forces reshaping every sector.
At our January Upskilling Meetup, you’ll explore how AI and human-centered design can turn messy health system challenges into meaningful learning and real, durable outcomes. You’ll hear from practitioners working inside the system, moderated by AI Upskilling Cohort alum Dr. Tati Warren, and then you’ll be invited to move beyond listening and into the work.
This meetup is the kickoff. It’s where you orient yourself, meet the community, and decide whether you want to go deeper as the health theme unfolds over the coming months.
