We're hosting our very first Demo Night!

Whether you're working on a side project or you want to show off the main thing you're working on right now, come join us at a former nun convent school to show your fellow designers the latest and greatest thing you're doing!

Some designers are showcasing the work they've been doing! Each will present for about 15 minutes on what they're working on. Interested in demoing your WIP or side project you completed? Submit your interest here.

Our Hosts

This event is being hosted by The Old School. A place for open inquiry. Multi-disciplinary programming in theory, research, and development.

A grove of knowledge growing out of the Old School. Reach out to laurentharrington@gmail.com or gonzalogelso@gmail.com for more info on contributing to the mission.

The Demos

AVA

by Gonzalo Gelso & Dane Roberts

AVA is an immersive and interactive audio visual experience where you can see and feel sound together. Through vibrating haptics and projection mapping, we create a contemporary wellness container that lets you braindance.

Billy

by Michael Markman & Ming Lin

Billy is a digital fidget toy and bag charm with a personality. Made to be played with and carried everywhere, it’s as much a fashion accessory as a piece of technology.

Pronto

by Erik Nelson

Pronto is the simplest way to use agents within iMessage. There's no new onboarding, no new apps to download, and no new accounts. Just setup your preferred tags and let your agents onboard to wherever life is already happening.

By attending our events, you are entering an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. We foster curiosity and connections through our events and are a harassment-free zone 💜
