Cafecito Y Arte
Join us for conversación y artivism con Pilsen Environmental Rights & Reform Organization (P.E.R.R.O.).
First, we'll connect at a Pilsen cafe, take a short walk to see an environmental justice site in the neighborhood, and lastly gather for a free workshop to design posters and mini-billboards for activism. All art materials provided; family-friendly event.
Let's support environmental justice and practice Spanglish with other Latines - all levels welcome. You are welcome to join for part or all of the event.
RSVP to receive an email with more details.
About P.E.R.R.O. - We are a grassroots community group of Pilsen residents that formed in 2004 to fight the disproportionate amount of pollution in the Pilsen neighborhood. P.E.R.R.O. believes all people have the right to live in a clean and healthy environment, regardless of their race and class. Learn more at https://pilsenperro.org/
